| Renault Wind Office Entry Level to 17500 € |
The new Wind officially presented it just a few weeks ago serves as the main attraction on the Renault stand at Geneva.
For those who do not yet know it, the Wind, which could have been called or Twing'up Twingo CC, declination is a "roadster" in the small city of Renault. However, aesthetically, the Wind is in sharp contrast to the Twingo.
Passed in the expert hands of Renault Sport, the Wind is based on a chassis very inspired by that of the Twingo RS with elements of its big sister: the Clio RS.
This little roadster has a retractable roof whose kinematics is reminiscent of the Ferrari 575 Superamerica. roof folds / unfolds in 12s and locks manually. This opening system, although relatively uncommon, offers a definite advantage: the boot capacity remains the same (270 liters) that the roof is open or closed.
The Wind will be proposed output with two petrol engines: the 100bhp 1.2l TCe which will serve as entry-level to 17500 € and the 1.6 16v 133ch taken directly from the Twingo RS. The chassis and engine ahead enticing and the price is entry-level content. After that, we like it or not ... But it has to recognize that this new little roadster has arguments facing competition from CC (207 or other Fiat 500)
