Jaguar C-XF concept car elected this year by CAR STYLING

It appeared in early 2007 at the Detroit show but the magazine Car Styling, Automotive Reference Design for 30 years, remembered the concept Jaguar C-XF and has simply chosen concept car of the year .

If unfortunately the series version has not generated the same fervor, we must admit that the concept was promising and ambitious.

Obviously, Ian Callum is happy because it is responsible of Jaguar design.

"It'sa great honor to receive this award from a renowned newspaper such, with which all the designers of the past 30 years have grown. Julian Thompson (head of advanced design) and I believe this magazine has always shown that this was the best in our profession. Therefore, we are very proud of this award honoring our work on the C-XF "

The Jaguar C-XF (videos here) had already received the "Star of the Show 'by Autoweek in his first public.

According to Akira Fujimoto, editor of Car Styling, "the C-XF was chosen because it attempts the challenge, difficult to express a high degree of quality by using new materials, a new approach. Not only outside but also inside. "

After this session paluchage friends, just a word the next time, do the same concept in that series, it will avoid some big disappointments!
